The brief
The existing building was industrial, with exposed columns, ducting and poor thermal comfort.
Design response
MS frames were placed around the exposed columns, and dry partition walls with flush lighting refined the interior. A baffle ceiling hides the cooling duct, and rockwool insulation above the false ceiling improves thermal comfort.
Cars are arranged along two aisles under graphic overhead lighting, mirrored by flush cut-out tiles in the central walkway. On the façade, angled MS frame bars and glow boxes give the corner more presence and brand visibility.
From industrial shell to showroom
Columns are wrapped in MS frames, services are hidden above a baffle ceiling, and insulation above the false ceiling keeps the space comfortable year-round.
