Architect Intern
New Delhi (on site) · Internship
Work alongside our architects on live workplace, retail and commercial projects, from early space planning through to construction drawings and site visits.
Apply for this roleYou will join the design team at our studio in Okhla Phase II, New Delhi, and contribute to real projects for corporate, retail and commercial clients. Interns are part of the project team from the first week: you will sit in design reviews, prepare drawings and models, and see how a design is carried from the first plan to the finished space.
What you will do
- Prepare space plans, test fits and layout options with a project architect
- Produce working and Good for Construction (GFC) drawings in AutoCAD
- Build 3D models in SketchUp and support visualisations
- Put together presentation boards, mood boards and material palettes for client reviews
- Help coordinate drawings with structural and MEP consultants
- Assist with bills of quantities, material schedules and vendor submissions
- Join site visits to record progress and check work against the drawings
What we are looking for
- A final-year B.Arch student on the practical training semester, or a recent graduate
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Familiarity with Revit, Enscape or V-Ray, Photoshop and InDesign is an advantage
- A portfolio that shows how you think through a plan, not only finished renders
- Care for detail, clear drawings and good written and spoken communication
- A genuine interest in workplace, retail and commercial interiors
